Main Street, Oakfield, New York
The Oakfield Historical Society meets the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 P.M. at the Village Board Room. (We do not meet in January or July) The public is always invited.
A limited number of historical calendars are still available at Warner's Flower Shop and at the Village Office. The calendars contain historical information and early pictures of businesses in Oakfield from 1858 to approximately 1950. There are interesting historical facts throughout the calendar taken from old newspaper and Village minutes, making it a keepsake of Oakfield history.
We are also selling note cards, (10 to a pack) containing two of each of the following buildings: Wilson Hotel (Oakfield Hotel), Main Street Oakfield, Isaac’s Blacksmith Shop (located on the corner of Water Street and Main Street), the Arnold House, and the Smith Block which is a view of the Main Street where M&T Bank is currently located. This package sells for $5.00. We have items with the gazebo motif on them, such as Magnets, 4x4 Tiles, Key Chains, Tote bags.
All of the items are located at Warner’s Flower Shop & Gifts, 21 Main Street. These would make wonder Christmas Gifts.
We are always happy to welcome new members.
