Village of Oakfield Current Zoning Board of Appeals Members
The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) is a five-member board appointed to (5) five-year terms. The ZBA members are public officers and must comply with all the requirements for public officers. The ZBA has no authority to amend the zoning law but is given the authority to interpret zoning law and make decisions as to whether or not a proposed project is acceptable and/or needs a zoning variance. The ZBA is authorized to hear appeals from a decision made by an administrative official such as the building inspector, zoning enforcement officer, code enforcement officer who is responsible for issuing permits or enforcing zoning.

Judy Boyle has lived in the Village for 40 years. She taught at the Oakfield Alabama Elementary School in the 1970s. Owning a cobblestone house on Forest Ave, Judy has always been interested in the history and the charm associated with quaint village life. Zoning is the most tried-and-true system of preserving property values by encouraging appropriate neighboring uses and appropriate land uses.
Amy Klos is a lifetime resident of the Village of Oakfield. She is interested in improving neighborhoods and keeping the village a safe comfortable place to live. She currently serves as Secretary.
Hannah Beuler is a recent resident of the Village of Oakfield. She has lived and grew up in Batavia, where she now practices as a general dentist. After getting married and moving to Oakfield, she has fallen in love with the village and seeing it thrive. She is excited to work together as a team with fellow members and other town boards and officials. Zoning law is critical to a community’s guide to future development.
Marc Wilder has served as a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals for thirteen years and has functioned as Vice Chairperson for nine years. He has lived in the Village his entire life. Marc was the Dog Control Officer for the Village of Oakfield for ten years. He currently works for the Town of Oakfield as the Maintenance Manager.
Matt Santy has served on the ZBA for since 2008. He resdies in the Town of Oakfield but lived on Bennett Ave. in the Village for 10 years. Matt is employed at M&T Bank as a Sr. Mortgage Underwriter. matt remains invested in the Village and understands the importance of zoning.
